What's an extreme way to increase flexibility for sprinting/short distance running?

I run the 400 meters as my main event, but I also run the 100 and 200 meters. I want to know what's the BEST way to increase my flexibility (primarily in my hamstrings). I've always had a stiff body, and I want it to be more limber. If anyone has any resources/references that is good for the kind of stuff I do, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

  1. sit down with your legs straight out, have someone push on your back for about 20 seconds, then realise a few times a day. talking to your coach would help too
  2. there is a revolutionary way to increase flexibility, it is called stretching. If you start to stretch more, like in the morning when you wake up and at night before you go to sleep, you will start to become more and more flexible.
