What are some good excersices to increace leg flexibility?

I need to increace my leg flexibility so i can become the greatest Tae Kwon Do artist in the world. But i cant even lift my leg up high enough to land a normal kick. So i need to increace my leg flexibility. So, yeah thanks in advance, any answers are helpful. So answer away.

  2. do the stretchs you learn in class. spits, side stretch etc. And dont over do it!
  3. aiite do ups n downs like 3 sets of 50 .. also leg prest and ankle prest... do that alternate days.. u will c the result. also for more help www.menshealth.com u will c the section for legs and if u need a trainer they offer for only 2.50/week.. which is a reasonable price.
  4. It takes time. I've played soccer all my life and when I was injured for six months I realized the leg flexibility required that I had taken for granted. Basically, take it day by day. My roommate in college was into Kung Fu and he would attempt to do the "splits" everyday by doing stretching exercises and after a few months was able to do it. Also, losing weight will also help in flexibility. Good Luck!
