What would be the best and worst NBA franchises to play for?
Best - Boston, cool city, great history. Worst - Oklahoma City. It's in Oklahoma. Don't just say whatever your favorite team is. For example, if you're a Sixers fans, deep down inside you know that Philly is a god awful, hell hole of a city. You know you'd rather live in LA or Miami.

- The best team to play for would be the Lakers they have a great city in L.A. where the weather is warm mostly year round. You will find every celebrity at your home games they are only second to the Celtics in Championships they are the only team to be in a championship finals at least once every decade since NBA was invented.
- best lakers, worst knicks
- I don't like the Lakers but they're probably the best place to play. In any given year they can win it all, there's lots of endorsement money to be made in LA, the fans are really into it, and you can live the winter months in a warm-weather city. Plus hanging around Phil Jackson has to be extremely interesting and educational. Worst place? The Knicks. Gross mismanagement and a really hostile press and fans. I guess if you're from some hick town and you like the big city, NY could be fun, but wasting one's career on a perennial losing franchise would suck.
- The easy answer is the Lakers and the Clippers. they play in the same arena and nobody in LA knows who any of the clippers are or even if they play basketball at all. but if your a laker your playing for a championship every year and you also get to be on TMZ all the time. you have to over pay players to be on the clippers and the laker players take pay cuts to play for them.
- best: Boston, great city, great team, great chemistry worst: Warriors, I have a feeling they are falling even lower
- I completely agree with you, but to add some variety Best - NY Knicks, big pay checks and the only other Alpha Global City ++ besides London Worst - Kings, do you really see any future in this franchise
- For myself and considering my style of play. I'm a shooter so I'd like to play for... Best: Denver, Golden State, Phoenix, and Orlando Worst: Chicago, Philadelphia, Indiana, L.A. Clippers
- I would said the best place is New York there is no greater city or L A The worst franchise is the Nets come on have you seen them lately and there moving to Brooklyn soon Now there will be two NY teams like LA
- Worst franchise, regardless of ANYTHING, is the Clippers. Depends on your interests, whether you are looking to get discovered (get high minutes) or play sturdy role in a rotation. Best franchise would be the LA Lakers. Great tradition and a wealth of players (past and present) that can really help you take your game to the next level.
- Portland is the most 'liveable'city. Tremendous fanbase. Bazillionaire owner. Young, up-and-commers...................Toronto would bite. It's Canada. It's cold. The money's messed-up. The women have uni-brows. They have a goofy dino-bird for a moniker.
- Best, I'd go with Lakers or Boston. Worst - Actually, I've read that OKC has an amazing cool practice facility, and that their young players kind of like the way they can concentrate on their game without too many outside distractions. I'd say worst would be the Clippers. You're second-class citizens in your own city, and you have an owner who cares much more about making money then having a winning team.
- Best current franchises to play for would be the Lakers, Houston, and Miami. All are warm locations and players love to be in these cities. In LA, you can play with an upcoming basketball legend. Houston has lower taxes than every other franchise plus the front office has been well praised by its players. Miami's atmosphere is nice and i hear the beaches are swell. Worst current franchises to play for would be the Clippers, Minnesota, and New Jersey. The Clippers have such bad luck even if they have so much talent. Just ask Blake Griffin how much he impacted his team this year. Minnesota is not only in the midwest, which doesn't have many attractions, but the front office is a mess right now and it'd be frustrating to be stuck there always questioning the front office's every move. New Jersey is just flat out bland. If you live or ever been to New Jersey, you'd agree.
- The Lakers
- best- portland great fans worst new jersey no fans
