Am I the only one in here who likes Dr. Dre and his production? Call him overrated, but both the Chronic and the Chronic 2001 were both 5/5 albums and his production is awesome considering he's purposely going for the slow, heavy West Coast G-funk style of beats. I actually believe him to be over-hated on this site. If you don't like him, is there any reason in particular? Explain.

Are there accelerated sound and lighting classes i can take? I am living in boise and work for a production company. All of our sound and lighting procedures have been self taught as we are a small company. I would like to take some accelerated courses and I am willing to travel but most of what I find online are out of the country. Please let me know if there are courses, preferably on the west coast that would educate me better on sound and lighting for theater applications.
One of the most important economic transformations in the years after World War I was? L.A.X.-Preview & Review...Are you gonna buy it? had tp make a form of a q...but... from this sample review it sounds pretty nice...and track 9 sounds ILL!!!! Yo Radio had a chance to go to Universal Records London office to hear The Game’s highly anticipated third studio album L.A.X.. I know it's just one persons opinion, and I know we haven't heard it yet, but after reading this I really think this album is gonna be crazy! Here is the review... Below are my notes on each track. Please note this is not the final track list order. 1. L.A.X. Produced by JR Rotem Big intro, he spits some BARS on this track talks about being gangster, very west coast bouncy production! 2. State Of Emergency feat. Ice Cube Produced by JR Rotem Crazy beat again, very west coast, another big tune, the only thing I could have asked more for was a verse from Ice Cube - he was only on the chorus ‘California ain‘t a state it‘s an army‘(they didn’t play the whole track so he might have a verse at the end hopefully). Game has stepped his lyrics up even more so far on this album. 3. Dope Boys Produced by 15 or Nothin’ I’m not gonna lie when I first heard this track I wasn’t impressed, but I think I must have gone mad cos this track is a BANGER! Most people would have heard this track already it’s got a very rocky feel with Travis Barker on the drums. 4. House Of Pain Produced by DJ Toomp This was one of the standouts for me, guitar rocky beat again. Game has definitely stepped up lyrically on this album. Another bouncy track with a load of quotables. Dj Toomp done his job with the beat! 5. Heaven Produced by Jelly Roll Another standout this track is serious, Game does some singing on the chorus. This could be a single for me a more introspective track than what’s been heard so far. 6. My Life feat. Lil Wayne Produced by Cool & Dre This is the next single, another introspective track. Talks about The Game’s struggles in his life. Very serious. Lil Wayne’s singing on the hook ‘Dear lord you took so many of my people but why havn’t you taken my life’. Beats serious as well very dark piano beat 7. Bullet Proof Diaries feat. Raekwon Produced by Jell Roll Very funky westcoast beat. Another standout. Raekwon does his thing on this. The chorus reminds me of the Ruff Ryders ’World War 3’ track - ‘Where you from, New York’…………BIG TUNE 8. Cali Sunshine Produce by Nottz This track is ok, I think I might have to hear it again. The Game`s talking about 50 getting robbed, Suge Knight getting punched up. For me Nottz is a serious producer but I wasn’t really feeling this track it might be a grower though. 9. Never Say Goodbye Produced EP Another highlight. At the start Biggie’s talking about his shock of hearing Eazy E death. Then it cut’s to the radio talking about the death of Biggie and Tupac. First verse The Game raps with Tupac’s flow and second verse he spits like Biggie, he SMASHES it! They faded out the track after the second chorus so I’m not sure if he does another verse. 10. Ye Heard feat. Ludacris Produced by Nottz This track is SERIOUS! The beat is stupid, probably the best beat on the album for me. Very Funky bouncy beat. The Game does his thing lyrically, he talks about being looked over and being too gangster to win a grammy but Ludacris SMASHES IT, one of the verses of the year for me, too many quotable ‘So many flags I thought I was in Russia…….’ 11. Gentlemans’ Affair feat. Ne-Yo Produced by JR Rotem To be honest I thought this was the weakest track for me, it’s got a mellowy summery vibe. It’ll probably do well on radio but I wasn’t really feeling it compared to the tracks I heard before. 12. Angel feat Common Produced by Kanye West When I saw the line-up for this I thought this track would be SERIOUS but at first it didn’t grab me, the beat didn’t sound like a Kanye West beat at all, it followed the west coast bouncy production of the rest of the tracks. Common and The Game done their thing lyrically and I think it was john Legend on the chorus. Everyone else in the room was feeling this track though to be fair, it’ll probably grow on me(still a big tune though I was just expecting a classic) 13. Camera Phone feat. Ne-Yo Produced by Cool & Dre This sounds like it could definitely be a single, I could imagine this being huge, double time beat. 14. Money Produced by Cool & Dre This one is definitely for the streets, similar vibe to Rick Ross ‘Push It’, talks about money. This will be BIG another highlight! I could imagine rappers freestyling over this beat on mixtapes for years! 15. Breaking Rules feat. Busta Rhymes Produced by Scott Storch Minimalist beat, everyone in the room was feeling this track. Got a similar vibe to ‘Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See’. Good track 16. Letter To The King feat. Nas Produced by Hi-Tek One of my favourite tracks. The track is an ode to Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement. Very introspective, they both talk about when they were younger overlooking the struggle but now realising the power. The beat is crazy, Hi Tek does his job. Nas and The Game make great tracks together, they both have featured on each others current and previous albums and each track for me has been a standout! Pain - they didn’t play Pain because everyone’s heard it all ready Big Dreams - The people at Universal said this maybe a bonus track their not sure at the moment collabs w/ Luda and Nas should be nice August 26th...i'm pretty sure and it's not mine..the paragraph at the very beginning states who it is....i haven't heard anything yet besides games pain

Is it true that the waste production from Coal Plants is more radioactive than Nuclear Waste? I' ve read that the waste is packed and buried under the ground in railroad cars linked together from the east to the west coast and can be traced three times over... It is making the people, animals, and the environment very sick and nothing is changing. Take a look at the four corners region, NW New Mexico, NE Arizona, bad news for the people and the animals, etc. that live there. What about the coal production in the smokies? Now they are building new plants in North Dakota despite this fact. By the way, there is no such thing as "clean" coal. There are other ways and people have got to wake up and stand up for the earth. Help! This is your future! Don't you want to live in a decent future with reasonable air and clean water? Wake up! Or else... No trees, no air, no pretty little picnic by the lake, just an air conditioned cement building with computers. Sounds like China or Japan. Is that what you want? Change has to happen now.
Why is DJ Muggs overlooked for his contributions? Dr. Dre is pretty much universally seen as the Godfather of the West Coast sound. I don't disagree with that but at the very least, shouldn't DJ Muggs be recognized as being a significantly influential figure? Other than Dre, no one has been more responsible for shaping the sound of the West than Muggs. Muggs was even influential to Dre as he changed from his late-80s production style to what he has done since The Chronic. Yet I hardly ever see anyone name DJ Muggs as one of the best producers.
Has anyone ever heard of an actor named Bob Simon? A few years ago I played The Narrator in a stage production of "The Rocky Horror Show". The actor who played Frankenfurter was named Bob Simon. He has done the role on the West coast but mostly in Europe. Anyone know of him?

How should I move forward my IT career? I have an A+ (2003 edition) certification, an Associate degree in Digital video/audio productions, and about 2 years work experience working in IT. I am currently an IT assistant. I would like to move forward with the education in regards to certifications. What would be the next certification to study for? I'd prefer something to do with network adminstration. There are so many possibilities I'd like to know what's "most desired" or popular in the field. Locationwise i'm in West coast Florida. Thanks.

During extreme weather conditions, does cholesterol increase to product cell membranes? If a person has spent all their life in a moderate climate (i.e., the west coast) and then moves to a more extreme weather environment (i.e., the east coast) could this cause an increase in cholesterol production? Lifestyle causes have been eliminated and cholesterol levels were 50 pts lower before the climate change. There is a correction to the phrase" product cell membranes". The phrase should read: "protect" cell membranes. Apologies and thank you.
Is this an accurate assumption of evolution between liberals and conservatives? For those that don't know about history ... Here is a condensed version: Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: 1. Liberals, and 2. Conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed. Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement. Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided. Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass. Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat. Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living. Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing. Here ends today's lesson in world history: It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it. A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to tick them off.

Is "It's Okay (One Blood)" hypocritical? The Game raps about being loyal to Dr. Dre throughout the song and being true "west coast" material, yet the beat and production is from a modern aftermath producer (namely not Dre) and has a twinge of southern crunk?

Is this the truth about Liberals, and Conservatives? I asked this question earlier today and got so many great responses. For those that don't know about history ... Here ends today's lesson in world history: It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before answering it. Patchoul, it is evident that you are clueless, you hunt meat in the summer when animals are not dormant, and go to coastal regions where the wheather is nice. Hunt mountains, cold, hunt sea shore nice.

Were the oil companies ever investigated for intentionally making the gas prices hike by their actions? "Take this internal Texaco strategy memo: "[T]he most critical factor facing the refining industry on the West Coast is the surplus of refining capacity, and the surplus gasoline production capacity. (The same situation exists for the entire U.S. refining industry.) Supply significantly exceeds demand year-round. This results in very poor refinery margins and very poor refinery financial results. Significant events need to occur to assist in reducing supplies and/or increasing the demand for gasoline." The memo went on to discuss a successful campaign in Washington State to shrink refined supply by removing other additives in the gasoline that filled gas volume. Another Mobil memo shows the company promoted tough regulations in California to shut down an independent refiner. A Chevron memo acknowledged the industry wide need to shutter refineries and discussed how refiners were responding in kind." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jamie-court/memos-show-oil-companies-_b_6980.html Shilo, price fixing is illegal to do...THAT is why it is wrong. When they make RECORD profits and the middle and lower class are barely making ends meet is when it is wrong. Exxon made over $1,000 a SECOND last year..that was BEYOND their costs.

Dodger...For your information, I don't watch Fox news, PERIOD. Secondly, there really was no reason to attack me without cause. It almost sounds as if people are HAPPY about the high gas prices. And for your information, China and India don't deal with the immediate raise in gas prices. When there is a hickup and the gas "FUTURES" go up, there is no reason for the immediate rise at the pump. Maybe 2 months from the time, but NOT IMMEDIATE. I don't think a lot of people understand that THIS is how they are making so much profit. I thought that things like this was illegal...was I mistaken? Why do we have more OIL IN RESERVE NOW, than we did in 1990? This doesn't add up. Jerry...This is not only about gas and SUVs...Oh, how I wish it were! This is also about the cost of goods and energy which goes to your home (And your computer) along with heating your home. Food will be going up 3 times the amount it was 6 years ago, just so THEY can cover their costs. How many middle class people will survive this?

Classic of the day Tha Alkaholiks? Coast II Coast http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/51GSH457KGL._SS500_.jpg In 1995 on the West Coast, it was all about Death Row and the incarcerated Tupac. Death Row was still dominating and Tupac released his best album Me Against the World. Anyone else did NOT matter. Where was Ice Cube? He was past his prime, so he made Friday. What about the Hieroglyphics? They're golden age had come to an end the year before. The Pharcyde? Everybody dismissed their best album Labcabincalifornia as wack. Here is yet another unappreciated Cali crew. Tha Alkaholiks, mentored by the equally unappreciated King Tee, released a classic album here. But with hype about Me Against the World and controversy over Dogg Food, Tha Liks' classic sophomore joint Coast II Coast went damn near unnoticed. Why is this a classic? Let's start with the production. E-SWIFT, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE??! I can't believe how underrated the man is. DJ Quik has been my favorite producer from the West, but E-Swift may snatch that throne from him. How're the lyrics? The subject matter isn't deep. It's more about gettin' drunk and having fun. I know, that's the sort of thing Death Row artists talk about (minus gun talk). The rhymes themselves are what makes these guys so sick. They have East Coast-style rhymes and flow, like their mentor King Tee or Souls of Mischief. The one that shines most is Tash, but J-Ro and E-Swift ain't far behind. The guest make the party all the more fun. Lootpack comes off as Tha Liks' twin brother, Q-Tip spits a slick verse, Diamond D, Devastating E and Lil' Tone do a good job, new kid Xzibit (before he started making corny jokes on Pimp My Ride) shines, and King Tee lets 'em know who the teacher was. King Tee reminds me of Biggie, although the correct way to say it is Biggie reminds me of King Tee. All fans of hip-hop need to get this album. In fact, ANYONE that likes fun music to listen to (rap fan or not) that is just spontaneous fun and not record label A&R fun needs Coast II Coast. In an era that was about to explode with beef and drama back and forth, Tha Alkaholiks were all about drunken fun because I'm sure they knew that a hangover the next morning was better than beef with someone from the East Coast.
Are goat-pulled carts green enough for Obama? Or do they fart too much? He's drying up ALL our oil!!? Obama is shelving a plan announced in the final days of the Bush presidency to open much of the U.S. coast to oil and gas drilling, including 130 million acres off California's shores from Mendocino to San Diego. Obama's Interior Secretary Ken Salazar put the plan on hold Tuesday while his agency conducts a 180-day review. But Salazar's critical comments about the proposal made clear that the new administration will rewrite it if not completely scrap it. "It opened the possibility of oil and gas leases along the entire Eastern seaboard, portions of offshore California and the far eastern Gulf of Mexico with almost no consultation from states, industry or community input," Salazar said at a news conference in Washington. "In my view, it was a headlong rush of the worst kind." Gateway Pundit reports that over the past 30 years: Democrats have blocked the development of new sources of petroleum. Democrats have blocked drilling in ANWR. Democrats have blocked drilling off the coast of Florida. Democrats have blocked drilling off of the east coast. Democrats have blocked drilling off of the west coast. Democrats have blocked drilling off the Alaskan coast. Democrats have blocked building oil refineries. Democrats have blocked clean nuclear energy production. Democrats have blocked clean coal production. Already this year democrats scrapped oil and gas leases in Utah and opened the 111th Congress by introducing a bill to permanently prohibit drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). During his acceptance speech, Obama said he wanted to end American's addiction on foreign oil. "I will set a clear goal as president: in ten years we will finally end our dependence on oil in the Middle East," said Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama. Stanford University Professor James Sweeney, the director of the Precourt Institute for Energy Efficiency, is not a believer. "If he means what it sounds like it means, it's impossible." He says the U.S. consumes about 21 million barrels of oil a day. "We import two-thirds of our oil now and the only way we can become independent is shut down industry and tell people they can't drive, tell people they can't fly," said Professor Sweeney. Obama will hobble America and we'll all be living like the Amish. http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/02/surprise-dems-nix-offshore-drilling-too.html http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/02/10/MNB015R7TQ.DTL http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/01/gov-palin-reacts-to-dems-latest-bill-to.html http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/02/change-team-obama-scraps-oil-and-gas.html http://www.theobamafile.com/_images/AmishBuggy.jpg http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=news/politics&id=6359976
Unbelievable. Do you agree with the libs answer to high oil prices/energy crisis, to 'Take the Bus'? Finally, Democrats offer a solution to high gas prices... .Take the bus! Over the past 30 years: Democrats have blocked the development of new sources of petroleum. Over the past 30 years Democrats have effectively created "No Zones" for US energy exploration and development. Yet, Speaker Pelosi has the nerve to say that "Drilling is a hoax!" So what is the Democratic solution? According to Speaker Pelosi yesterday, it's mass transit. That's right!... Democrats want you all to take the Pelosi bus to work today. http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/07/finally-democrats-offer-solution-to.html

Hallelujah! Does Messiah Obama and democrats have a solution for high oil prices? Look at their actions.? The Democratic Congress solved the oil crisis! By developing new sources of petroleum?-- No By drilling in ANWR?-- No By drilling off the coast of Florida?-- No By drilling off of the east coast?-- No By drilling off of the west coast?-- No By drilling off the Alaskan coast?-- No By building oil refineries?-- No By developing shale oil deposits?-- No By adding nuclear energy production?-- No By adding clean coal production?-- No House Democrats passed legislation today to sue OPEC to bring down gas prices. Brilliant-- A law suit against OPEC. http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/05/halleluiah-house-dems-solve-oil-crisis.html Notlost: I can see why you're upset. Facts aren't allowed when you wear blinders. The GOP has not been the obstructionist when it comes to drilling, unless you want to rewrite history like a lying liberal. Jerome - No, that was just a stupid slogan by liberals - "Iraq war was for oil". Evidently, you have severe amnesia. "Ask yourself why the oil companies are sitting on 70 million acres of oil leases that they are not drilling. Ask yourself why the Republican Congress did nothing about oil for the six years they had total control of the goverment. Think, man, think!" This is the excuse parroted by leftists. FACT: Oil companies will drill when they deem it profitable. These leases are, most likely, worthless and costly to retrieve oil. 70 million acres...and the democrats keep increasing the number while they protest millions of acres that are totally viable and profitable. This is what you get from an ignorant leftist that thinks that profits and corporations are evil. How dare companies try to maximize profits and minimize losses! Noah: Great solutions for another stone age!

Could someone Please help on this very hard case study? The Darby Company manufactures and distributes meter used to measure electric power consumption. The company started with a small production plant in El Paso and gradually built a customer base throughout Texas. A distribution center was established in Ft. Worth, Texas later, as business expanded to the north, a second distribution center was established in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The El Paso plant was expanded when the company began marketing its meters in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah. With the growth of the West Coast business, the Darby Company opened a third distribution center in Las Vegas and just two years ago opened a second production plant in San Bernardino, California. Manufacturing costs differe between the company\'s production plants. The cost of each meter produced at the El Paso plant is $10.50. The San Bernardino plant utilizes newr and more efficient; as a result, manufacturing costs are $.50 per meter less than at the El Paso plant. The company\'s rapid growth meant that not much attention was paid to the efficiency of the distribution system. Darby\'s management decided it is now time to address this issue. The cost of shipping a meter from each of the two plants to each of the three distribtion centers is shown in Table 1 below. The quarterly production capacity is 30,000 meters at the older ElPaso plant and 20,000 meters at the San Bernardino plant. Note that no shipments are allowed from the San Bernardino plant to the Ft. Worth distribution center. The company serves nine customer zones from the three distribution centers. The forecast of the number of meters needed in each customer zone for the next quarter is shown in Table 2. The cost per unit of shipping from each distribution center to each customer zone is given in Table 3. note that some of the distribution centers cannot serve certain customer zones. In the current distribution system, demand at the Dallas, San Antonio, Wichitia, and Kansas City customer zones is satisfied by shipments from the Ft. Worth distribution center. In a similar manner, the Denver, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix customer zones are served by the Santa Fe distribution, and the Los Angel es and San Diego customer zones are served by the Las Vegas distibution center. To determine how many units to ship from each plant, the quarterly customer demand forecasts are aggregated at the distribution centers. and a transportation model is used to minimize the cost of shipping from the production plants to the distribution centers. Table 1 Shipping cost per unit from production plants to distribution centers ($) Distribution Center Plant Ft Worth Sante Fe Las Vegas El Paso 3.20 2.20 4.20 San Bernardino --- 3.90 1.20 Table 2 Quarterly Demand Forecast Customer Zone Demand (meters) Dallas 6300 San Antonio 4880 Wichitia 2130 Kansas City 1210 Denver 6120 Salt Lake City 4830 Phoenix 2750 Los Angeles 8580 San Diego 4460 Table 3 Shipping cost from the distribution centers to the customer zones ($) Customer Zone San Kansas Salt Lake Dallas Antonio Wichita City Denver City Phoenix LA SD Ft Wor 0.3 2.1 3.1 4.4 6.0 -- -- -- -- Sante Fe 5.2 5.4 4.5 6.0 2.7 4.7 3.4 3.3 2.7 Las Vegas - - - - 5.4 3.3 2.4 2.1 2.5 Question for overall problem 1. If the company does not change its current distribution strategy, what will its manufacturing and distribution costs be for the following quarter? 2. Suppose that the company is willing to consider dropping the distribution center limitations; that is, customer could be served by any of the distributon centers for which costs are available. Can costs be reduced? By how much? 3. The company wants to explore the possibility of satisfying some fo the customer demand directly from the production plants. In particular, the shipping cost is $.30 per unit from San bernardion to Los Angeles and $.70 from San Bernardion to San Diego. Teh cost for direct shipments from El Paso to San Antonio is $3.50 per unit. Can distribution costs be frther reduced by considering these direct plant customer shipments? 4. Over the next five years. Darby is anticipating moderate growth (5000 meters) to the North and West. Would you recommend that they consdier plant expansion at this time? Maybe someone with alot of time on their hands or knows what to do with this problem.

Sooo this is me trying to say that Snoop Dogg isn't a sell out? Here it goes. Working with Soulja Boy doesn't make him a sellout. Had he dumbed down his content to match Soulja Boy's this would be a different story. But lyrically Snoop Dogg hasn't changed. He may not rap about gang stuff as much, but he's grown up. He's living up to his reputation of a lovable pimp (as oxymoronic as that may be). His ear for beats may have changed, but he's still making fun music. Snoop Dogg was never a lyrical monster. He makes fun, head nodding, party music. And he still does, regardless of who the production comes from, whether it be Dre or the Neptunes. And c'mon, The Blue Carpet Treatment is one of Snoop's best albums not called Doggystyle, and it was released in the era of his albums considered "whack". Furthermore, Snoop is one of the most respectable MCs in the mainstream. He's got a lot of love for the underground and tends to give them shine (which is a hell of a lot more than other mainstream MCs do, which is a shame considering the talent to be had in places like Chi, NY and Detroit). Malice N Wonderland had production from Scoop DeVille, who is part of the Get Busy Committee with Apathy, he has a collaboration album with B-Real due out next year, and he appeared on La Coka Nostra's debut album. He tends to bring underground acts on tours with him and rock with them on stage. He's got a lot of love for hip hop. And yet ever since he did a track with Soulja Boy all I've seen is comments about him being a sell out. I'll admit Ego Trippin wasn't a great album, but Malice N Wonderland was overall an enjoyable listen. Like I said, had Snoop been the West Coast equivalent of R.A the Rugged Man or some sh*t and always spoke on keeping hip hop 100 and then he started recording with the Neptunes and Soulja Boy I'd agree that he's a sell out. But he's never been that lyrical. He's a smooth, laid back musician who just makes fun music. Not even his most hailed album is lyrical. And he's still providing us with fun music. Snoop Dogg is still one of the best and most reliable mainstream musicians. He is neither a sell out or a fall off. If you didn't call him a sell out for signing to No Limit and recording with C Murder, you shouldn't call him one for recording a single song with Soulja Boy and moving away from Gangsta West Coast themes and Dr Dre beats (even though he can still get gangsta). Counter arguments?

Classic Or Not?? Part 7? So this is how it works, I name an album, and you tell me if that album, in your opinion is classic or not, and if you want, why you feel that way. Today's album is: The Game - The Documentary The debut album from The Game announces the arrival of the most significant West Coast gangsta rapper since Snoop Dogg more than a decade earlier. And for that, amongst other reasons people were hailing The Game as one of the better rappers out. Boasting production from some of the game's best producers, and having all star guest appearances (and of course, Game being a good rapper), The Documentary is a great album...but is it as good as many people make it out to be? Should a West-Coast classic be considered a Classic in general?
