How do I increase flexibility for tennis? I wanted to increase shoulder, elbow and wrist flexibility. I was told swimming would do this, and was wondering if their are any other exercises I can do in my home.

How can I increase flexibility and strength in my ankle? About 4 months ago I severely twisted my ankle playing volleyball and couldn't do any sports for about 8 weeks. Now it is practically healed but causes some pain when straightening it. Also when flexing it (pointing my toes towards my body) I can only just go past 90 degrees whereas it used to go to 45. I've been trying to do ankle raises on it but I can only manage about 20 before i physically can't do anymore, yet on my other leg I can manage 60 easily

Increase flexibility in knees? I am reacquainting myself with ballet as a hobby and have unfortunately lost quite a bit of my flexibility. I have noticed that the back of my knees in particular have really tightened up and I am unable to completely straighten my legs because of this. It has been a long time since I have danced so if this is common knowledge than it has escaped my memory so does any one know how I can fix this? Stretching help (to improve/increase flexibility)? I've been doing a lot of stretches (mainly legs) to improve my flexibility so I can kick higher. Something I've been noticing though, when I do the same stretches in both legs, in exact same positions, the muscles that I've stretching tend to be different. For example I'd start with my left and I'd only feel the bottom muscles (hamstrings?) stretching. Then I move to my right leg and I'd feel the side muscles and no matter how much I adjust my leg, I wouldn't be feeling it in my hamstrings.

I'm 20 years old, 6'5 195, and I use a Big Bertha ERC Fusion driver with a Grafalloy stiff shaft, one with a 9 degree loft, the other with a 10 degree loft.
