Flexibility exercises...? I want to become more flexible and have stronger ankles so that if I start ballet, I do well.. Do you have any excercises for me to work on to help achieve flexibility and strong ankles? I can walk in my friends pointe shoes, but how do I tell if I have strong ankles?
Some exercises to improve flexibility to mount horses? I can never get onto the taller horses from the ground, and was wondering if anybody knew of some exercises to help improve flexibility. It is always the worst on the trail, when I have to dismount for some reason and then have to find a big stump in order to get back on. Thanks!
What are some good exercises to focus on my stomach muscles and flexibility? Right now i'm supposed to be at modelling, but I have no way of getting there :( since i have nothing else to do tonight, i've decided i'm going to exercise until the time I have to have my shower. My PE teacher said I have to improve my stomach muscles and my dancing teacher said i have to improve my flexibility. What are some exercises that focus on flexibility and stomach muscles?
is it okay to do flexibility exercises every day? if not, how often? i recently started going to the gym everyday for aerobics and a little bit of strength training because last year i started contemporary dance and i am really far behind the other girls, strength and flexibility wise. so i want to at least be able to do a split by the time we go back to school (in 2 weeks). is it ok if i do flexibility exercises AND aerobics everyday?
What are good exercises for people with good flexibility and balance? I'm thinking about taking dancing classes to keep in shape because I have good balance and I also would like to know which exercise is good for people with good flexibility. I have a hard time running and lifting weights but I know I have a good balance and flexibility so I think it will be easier for me to keep in shape with exercises that that requier flexibility and balance. any idea what dancing classes should I take?
What are some stretching exercises that would increase flexibility? I'm in my midteens and I'd like to take figure skating classes this winter. What are some exercises I could try to prepare myself for them? Or do know any good websites that might help? Oh, and I've never played sports before. I know it'll be a while before taking classes, but building strength and improving flexibility will take time, which is why I want to start now. Thanks! :)
What are good exercises to do for flexibility?? i need to be able to do the splits and the scorpian (cheerleading move which requires lots of flexibility in the back) by about may. any exercises would be helpful, mabye some links to a website, or video or something, thank you. xoxo ari

Exercises on flexibility for pole dancer? I have just started pole dancing and i would like to eventually perfect my technique. does any one know of any exercises that will increase my flexibilty? or any arm workouts to increase my strength?
what flexibility or stretching exercises can i do so i can do a split? i need to be able to do a split in about 2 weeks. i almost can, but i have about 6 or 7 inches more left to be a complete split. so i could really use help from maybe any cheerleaders or other dancers. if you have any exercises or any links to pages that might help that would be great :)
Flexibility exercises for ballet beginner? I am fourteen and I have just begun ballet. Like literally, i started today. Anyway, Im not very flexible, and I am taking beginning private lessons from my neighbor, not a class. She is kind of old and mean, and seems angry that i am not already really flexible. What exercises can help flexibility? i've been weightlifting for weeks now, and i've notice that i've been getting stronger and my muscles are getting bigger, but the problem is when i take a shower i can reach my back or when i have an ich on my back i have to get my sister to scratch it. what exercises help improve arm flexibility?
flexibility exercises for cheerleading tumbling? what exercises do i have to improve my flexibility so i can be able to do at least a back walkover and back handspring? i know to do this i should be able to do a backbend at least.. i can do this if i start from lying on the floor and going up to a backbend but my hands and feet wooble a lot and my head spins.. lol.. what certain exercises are needed to be able to perform a backbend, handsprings, and walkovers?? and what exercise routine would you suggest that would improve my overall flexibility? getting a trainer or instructor or something is not an option for me because my parents would never pay for gymnastics lessons.. lol.. its just a personal goal of mine to try and learn how to do these things.. thanks a lot to those who would help.. ^_^

Exercises for dancers to improve & maintain flexibility? I'm a dancer and I would like to join some form of exercise that tones the muscles and improve/maintain flexibility. should I do pilates or power yoga? Or any other suggestions? I would also like to ask that if one has abs, does it make their back less flexible? Like bridges whereby the hands nearly touch or touch the legs? (I'm more to my back so I would really like to know) Thanks!

Hip flexibility exercises/stretches? hey i do brazilian jiu jitsu (a grappling martial art) and in not that flexible, i know it will improve my game if i can increase my hip flexibility so if you know any really good stretches/exercises for me to do on a daily basis please post them, thanks a lot!

Good stretches/exercises for increasing flexibility? I'm thinking of joining colorguard in the fall, but I need to get in better shape and become more flexible before then. Ankle flexibility exercises? For my freestyle kick in swimming and fly kick, I can't do them well because my ankle is very tight and my feet kinda drag, so I was wondering if anyone has any good stretches on increasing my ability to point my toes.
