I have been trying to actively stretch my knee joint and I think the actual ligaments, but my one side is almost and the other is a little further away from complete. What's an extreme way to increase flexibility for sprinting/short distance running? I run the 400 meters as my main event, but I also run the 100 and 200 meters. I want to know what's the BEST way to increase my flexibility (primarily in my hamstrings). I've always had a stiff body, and I want it to be more limber. If anyone has any resources/references that is good for the kind of stuff I do, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
What is the best way to improve flexibility? I do yoga at home for relaxation in my "calm time", usually on weekends with no plans or about an hour after dinner, when I'm alone. I have an easy routine, and I'm having trouble doing a few more advanced poses because of flexibility. I'm not overweight nor have any condition, or anything like that. I'm just really tall and have long limbs, so it's a bit hard to stretch, especially when the hamstring is included. Does anyone know any techniques to improve flexibility? -Thanks in advance! : ) ~Sky
